Another rider made his way into the castle courtyard, his horse barded in the colours of Coeranys. As he dismounted, he announced, "Direct me to His Grace, Servant. I have important news from my Duchess!"

A day or so later...

A luxurious black and gold carriage drawn by four matching grey horses drove up into the castle courtyard surrounded by several guards, one of them a big Khinasi wearing chainmail, his braided hair drawn back into a ponytail at the nape of his big neck.

As the waiting servant opened the door, Taelen Alam, looking slightly disheveled, hopped down from the carriage and turned with a big grin on his face to help down his beautiful wife, Katrina. She blushed as he helped her down and whispered something only she could hear. Then she shook her blonde head at him as she smoothed her travelling gown and took his arm, her lips curving into a happy smile that matched his.

"This will be so much fun." says Taelan, patting his wifes hand as he escorts her into the keep.

In the distance, several riders can bearing the crest of Aerenwe on their cloaks as they ride up to the Mhor's great castle.

Outside, Justinian Swordwraith can be seen dismounting his horse, and then helping his sister, Rowena, down from hers.

Godric steps down from the carriage, then turns to help his new wife down, grinning all the while.

The Wedding Ceremony

The great hall in the ancient fortress of Shieldhaven looked transformed from the previous day. The long tables at which the guests sat to eat yesterdays evening meal had been cleared away and the floor strewn with freshly cut heather laced with lavender a practice harkening back to a time when the wedding rites were held outside.
Around the walls of the hall the Mhor's household guard stand at attention as if guarding the great tapestries depicting seminal moments in Mhorien history alongside the many shields representing the heraldry of the Mhorien noble houses.
The dias upon which the Mhor normally presides over his court has been extended, here priests representing all three principle temples in Mhoried conduct the ceremonial rites.
In the main body of the hall the guests stand or sit dependent upon their rank and status.
