Imoen studies Noelon for a brief moment before replying.

"As I mentioned already My Lord, my father grasped the opportunity which presented itself."

Imoen sips from her glass, and then leans forward over the table slightly to whisper towards the Lord Noelon.

"Why the interest in my Lord Fathers' loyalties I wonder?"

Imoen arches an eyebrow questionly, awaiting the Lord Noelons response.

Noelon smiles slyly and leaning forward murmurs, " perhaps it's a veiled excuse to spend a little time with his beautiful daughter."
Leaning back again he takes a sip of his wine, "So he's simply a practical man. I can respect that. Perhaps he might be interested in other business opportunities?"

Imoen very nearly breaks into a genuine smile.

"Always..."

"Well then," Noelon replies with grin and then a casual glance around the room, "perhaps we should carry this conversation on, ...elsewhere. My place for example."

Imoen sits back in her chair slowly, cautiously studying Noleon for a moment with eyes of steel.

"Let us instead walk about the Senate Gardens my Lord. I find the evening air much preferable to darkened rooms and stone walls."

She arches an eyebrow at Noleon, and holds her hand out towards him, plainly expecting him to take hold of it to help her rise from the chair.

Imoen leans forward in her chair after a moment.

"My Lord??" she asks, her voice almost pitched with a hint of concern "Are you well?"
